Favorite Song: My favorite song is "Not Over You" by Gavin DeGraw. The upbeat instrumental arrangement nicely juxtaposes the feelings of longing expressed through the lyrics, which implies hope for the current situation. I've found the lyrics can be applied to any situation (not just the loss of a significant other) since, at its core, the song is one of triumph: overcoming previous hesitations to reveal truth ("no matter what I say I'm not over you.") I also think Gavin DeGraw is an incredible and artistic singer with a ton of soul!

Favorite Song: My favorite song currently is "How High the Moon" by Ella Fitzgerald. I absolutely love Ella Fitzgerald's voice, especially in this song and her scat singing in the song is PHENOMENAL. Wish I had her skills. She's a queen. The end.

Favorite song: I love the song "Mona Lisa" by Guster. What evolved to become my "college anthem," it holds a special place in my heart as it was a collectively favourite arrangement of my college a cappella group. Every time we sang it together, there was such a sense of hope - it felt very powerful.

Favorite Song: 'I Wish' by Stevie Wonder. This is definitely one of very few songs I can listen to on repeat forever and never get sick of. The jazzy chords, driving beat, the blaring brass section, the sweet bass line, and nostalgic lyrics make it SUCH a jam.
